The Child Protection Restor ation and Penalties Enhancement Act of 1990, a record keeping law better known as > 18 USC 2257, states in laymens terms that t he producers of adult content must require their models to provide proof of identification documentation. The documentaion must include the model's true full name as well as their date of birth. The producer must observe and copy all documentation, usua lly a driver's license and/or passport, and keep it on record.
